In The Spotlight - Hamilton Innovative
Dennis Hamilton, President, Sr. Web Consultant

Dennis Hamilton moved to the Dayton Ohio in 1990 after accepting a position with Standard Register's corporate headquarters. He was initially responsible for Field Service Technical Training in both hardware and software product Solutions. Over the next eighteen years, Dennis held a number of positions in Training Management, Internet Technology Solutions, Corporate Communications, Sales & Marketing Support and others. He has also been associated with and/or instrumental in three start-up companies, Logical Computing Solutions in Pittsburgh, Panini North America NA headquartered in Turn Italy and most recently in 2004 with Hamilton Innovative.

Hamilton Innovative began as the result of the economic downturn when Standard Register announced they were eliminating the Internet Technology Solutions group after two years of revamping their marketing efforts and web site which was not quite completed. "It's always a difficult decision when any company announces cuts but I knew it was a business decision and not personal," said Hamilton. He goes on to say, "It actually provided the catalyst to start a new company doing what I love and do best. Within three weeks, the company was formed, a strategic was alliance established with Kuty & Associates a Dayton based company and within six weeks, a year and half contract with Standard Register to finish the work we started. How can it get any better than that?" Since then the company has also become a strategic partner to Webbed Marketing located in Columbus, OH a Search Engine Optimization/Search Engine Marketing (SEO/SEM) Agency.

One of the very early projects in the new business was the redesign of the Dayton Mortgage Bankers Association web site with Holly Hutchison as a sponsor. That project led to direct involvement with the mortgage industry, membership with the DMBA and a 2008- 2009 board position. Other early projects included offering pro-bono professional services to non-profit organizations supporting housing and bettering communities. A few include Rebuilding Together Dayton, Dayton Habitat for Humanity and David Bohardt for Mayor election campaign who at that time was also Executive Director of the Dayton Home Builders Association. "We have always been very interested in bettering the communities where we work and live.”

In these tough economic times it's even more important to stretch ourselves with a vision to improve. We are a small company facing many challenges, and cannot do it alone. Traci Abner who has been with is for over three years and recently Vicky Tasopulos who joined us in October are also driving factors in our continued success." Hamilton Innovative is proud to be an Affiliate Member of the DMBA and will continue to offer guidance, direction and support to further market all members of the Dayton Mortgage Bankers Association.
