Well summer is officially past in the Brogan household – days at the pool are dwindling, the South Carolina beach is a distant memory and school is back in session. In some ways I guess it is a good thing because our industry has many changes to get adjusted to in the last 1/3 of 2009 (and I get to work earlier when I have to drop the kids off at school!) and I have tried to include the most recent information of those changes in this newsletter – take some time and read as much as you can because the changes are significant.

Hopefully you have been able to attend at least one of our successful Summer DMBA events – Ron Weaver and Nick Maxwell put together another fun and successful golf outing at Sugar Valley CC and Adam Galbraith organized a very nice wine and beer tasting at Franco’s Ristorante, the wine and food were great and the weather on the patio was even better!

We still have several General Membership meeting remaining this year including our election night celebration. Board positions are open and I encourage all to get involved!
