GW Land Title Welcomes Heidi Miller
GW Land Title Ltd. is pleased to welcome Heidi M. Miller as Closing Offi cer. Heidi grew up in Ottoville, OH, and has a Bachelors degree in Business Management from the University of Toledo. Heidi has been employed by Sky Bank prior to joining GW Land Title.
GW Land Title is located at 7625 Paragon Road in Centerville, OH. It is a partnership between Veronica A. Grabill, President, and James I. Weprin, General Counsel.
 IRS Questioning Validity of Down Payment Assistance
As most of you should know by now, the IRS is questioning the validity of tax exempt status for down payment assistance programs, such as: Ameridream, The Esther Foundation, Nehemiah, Neighborhood Gold, etc. The FHA will not recognize these programs if the tax exempt status is terminated.
HUD expects that on May 22, termination of several program’s status will be revoked. Each lending institution is making individual decisions as to still accept contracts dated up until this date or not. Check with your underwriters’ and company policies before promoting these programs. We will update you as soon as we have full details.
