Robert P. Gutmann, SRA, Receives Award

At the 29th Annual Economic Seminar held in Columbus, OH, in December, Robert P. Gutmann, SRA, was awarded the Cardinal Chapter of Ohio Appraisal Institute’s Distinguished Service Award. The award was presented to Gutmann in honor of his 35 years of service to the Appraisal Institute, and recognition of 30 years as an SRA member of the Appraisal Institute.

Gutmann is the President and managing partner of Gutmann & Middleton Valuations, Inc., an independent real estate valuation and consulting firm specializing in all types of residential and commercial real estate. The Appraisal Institute is the largest and most highly regarded professional real estate appraisal organization with over 20,000 members around the world.

Holly Hutchison Named DABR Affiliate of the Year

Southern Ohio Mortgage would like to congratulate Holly Hutchison for being recognized as the 2006 DABR Affiliate of the Year. Holly has been a member of the Dayton Area Board of Realtors since 1996, has served for four years on DABR’s Affiliate Institutions Committee, and is the Committee’s current Chairperson. She is also a participating member of the Dayton Chapter Women’s Council of Realtors, Home Builders Association of Dayton, and the South Metro Chamber of Commerce.

A long-time, active member of DMBA, Holly served as President of DMBA in 2004, and currently serves as a DMBA Board Member. Outside of the industry, Holly is also involved with Agape for Youth, a foster care and adoption agency with a strong reputation in the community as a leader in quality therapeutic foster care.
